1857 Memorial Museum (The Residency)
Located within the historic Residency complex, this museum is dedicated to the stories of bravery and resilience during the 1857 Revolt. It is housed in an area that served as a refuge for British officials during a five-month siege. The museum displays an extensive collection of artifacts, photographs, maps, and documents related to the conflict. Visitors can see bullet-riddled walls and cannonball marks intentionally preserved by the Archaeological Survey of India as silent witnesses to history.
