Though dedicated to Goddess Kali, it uniquely houses idols of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi as well. The temple was reportedly a significant site during the Nawabi era, surviving various historical transitions. It is known for its powerful spiritual energy and traditional rituals that have remained unchanged for centuries. The narrow lanes leading to the temple are filled with shops selling traditional puja items, adding to the authentic “Old Lucknow” feel that visitors experience here.
